OMG, I have a new favorite show!!! Okay, maybe not favorite, but pretty damn close. Well, as close as you can get to the CSIs. And Lost. And House. And the Office. But definately in the top ten!!!
I had high hopes for this one, mostly because I refuse to believe that anything Jerry Bruckheimer does will fail (I'm choosing to forget about Days of Thunder here), and I really, really need something to watch on Wednesday nights when Lost isn't on. *sob*
And it totally delivered!!! Love Spy Daddy's character, the crusty old attorney who will totally sell your soul to win a case, love the young idealistic one, love the token black dude, not so keen on the woman, but then I generally don't like a whole lot of women in my shows because it just leads to self-loathing. But still!
And I aboslutely loved the part at the end where they show you what happened---it really came in handy last night because I had it totally pegged wrongly. Oh well.
The case was awesome, and I loved that Nancy Grace character who managed to capture her particular flavor of infertile bitterness.

Okay, and I kindof knew that they weren't going to lose the first case, because that just sets you up for failure, but I was totally holding my breath when they returned the verdict. And when the one they weren't sure about stood up? I almost had a heart attack.
Kind of like when one of the CSI's get hurt and you're all "OMG, what's going to happend!?!?!" even though you totally know that they're not going to kill anybody off (unless they're having "creative differences" with David Caruso. Then they'll take one to the chest because they "didn't clean the gun". Uh-huh.)
Jerry is that good.

So we all must watch EVERY SINGLE WEEK LEST THIS GO THE WAY OF JUST LEGAL, which, by the way,is back on a network which doesn't exist. I'm confused.
